Lake Co. Port Authority – Loan & Financing
The Lake County Port Authority promotes projects that will provide for the creation of jobs and employment opportunities and improve the economic welfare of the people residing in Lake County. The Port Authority is also authorized by state law to enhance, foster, aid, provide or promote transportation, economic development, housing, recreation, governmental operations, culture or research.
Lake County Safety Council
The LCSC is one of more than 80 safety councils in Ohio that is co-sponsored by the Ohio Division of Safety & Hygiene, locally in cooperation with the MACC. The LCSC meets monthly to examine and review safety techniques and programs, products and services and regulatory compliance. Mentor Economic Assistance Corp.
Based in the Mentor Municipal Center, MEACO is a certified development company whose mission is to advance economic development opportunities within the City of Mentor. MEACO is authorized by the U.S. Small Business Administration to operate the 504 Loan Program and also manages the Mentor Small Business Loan Fund in cooperation with the City of Mentor. These programs have created more than 1,600 jobs and represent millions of dollars in investment.
