Since 1965, the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce has honored outstanding leaders and businesses that enrich the Mentor community through their accomplishments and activities. The Mentor Chamber will formally recognize their 2012 award winners at the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce monthly membership luncheon on Tuesday, May 22nd from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites LaMalfa, 5783 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060. Ohio State Auditor Dave Yost will keynote the luncheon.
The Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce was established in 1960 to promote local businesses in a divided township and village, before they joined together to become a city in 1963. Since then, the chamber has been working hard to support its mission in providing opportunities for local businesses and the residents to work together for the enrichment of the community. Today the chamber offers many benefits, programs and services to both large and small businesses from virtually every profession that represents its nearly 700 members.
